absolute perfect compromise between performance quality and budget. this light is for those who cant handle 100+ dollar prices but still want vicious bang for your buck. i think in my expert opinion that the lumens would appear to be something more like 165 but the throw is pretty right on. exquisite light! Hands down the best flashlight I own. The E20 uses standard AA batteries that you can get anywhere. It is brighter than all of my Surefire lights that take the more expensive 123 batteries. (anonymous)

Brighter whiter adn powerful center than oth

I compared my E20 and a Stramlight recharge Stinger led ($100+ with few charging classy options) in a fairly dark large living room. E20 has brighter whiter and more powerful center long throw beam - later than nightr on slightly hazy dark nigt did tree tops over 400 feet away - and larger brighter and more natural spectrum peripheral light.
