Wow, what an amazing light. I purchased this light as a replacement for an old 4D cell Maglite that the batteries had burst in and ruined the light. The TK12 R2 is a little powerhouse. It throws a sharp, incredibly bright beam a very long distance and has a mode for every need. It feels great in my hand and easily fits in a pocket or in the included holster. I am so impressed, I just now ordered the PD30 R2 to use as a backpacking back up light. My first impression with the Fenix line up of lights is "WOW". Buy one and be amazed yourself. You can check out tons of comparisons on Youtube if you can't decide which one you need, and believe me, you do need one of these lights.
