I work in some dark environments and needed the best 2AA light i could get my hands on, the LD20R4 did not disappoint! this is the best light ive owned and it makes maglites look wimpy. it is actually almost overkill- it is that good. it is bright enough and then some. i use it in turbo mode a lot and it does get warm to the touch but never what id consider "hot". i didnt need the strobe feature but now that ive seen it in action ill be ordering a TA20 for my assault rifle. 2 thumbs up for this light.
